Breathing and your health

Weekly Reminder: Live in the present moment  "Being in the present moment
breathing without thinking takes you through difficult moments!  Comments
"

Breathing is a stressor that may affect your health.

Here some thoughts to focus on as we revisit breathing and your health today...

  • Being and staying centered and grounded requires normal breathing
rather than forced, held, jammed or reverse breathing.

  • Being and staying centered and grounded is accomplished when
you are lying down, sitting or standing with your feet planted
solidly on the bed, and/or floor shoulder width apart.

  • For natural normal breathing, your chest and belly expands when
you breathe in and deflates when you breathe out.

  • Holding your breath until after you've completed any activity (talking,
walking, etc.) tends to create a physical response, a stress reaction
that may have an impact on your health.  http://tinyurl.com/buarvf

[Caution: Go slow.  Attempting to fix your breathing style
by taking in more oxygen than your body knows may cause
hyperventilation.   If this occurs, cup your hands lightly over
your mouth (rather than look for a paper bag) and breathe in
and out slowly.  You can do this while sitting or standing,
            preferably sitting.]

One thing is for sure, only with honest observation, questioning and reflection
on breathing and your health are you able to create viable new beginnings for
    others and for yourself.

    So, are you ready?

Your body is telling you what choices to make.
